| TikTok Information Technologies UK Ltd. and TikTok Technology Limited, which offer the TikTok app in the UK and EEA, are incorporated in the UK and Ireland respectively and are subject to UK, Irish and EU laws. Neither is subject to Chinese law. TikTok’s user data is stored outside of China and under Project Clover, our new European data centres will become the default storage location for our UK and European user data. The Chinese Government cannot compel another sovereign nation to provide data stored in that nation’s territory. |
